Contract update for CWA Local 9505 Union members!
Important Direct TV and AT&T Update
April 7, 2024
As of today Sunday April 7, 2024 4:30 am Negotiations with Directv and AT&T are as followed:
Direct TV Update:
The parties are very close to an agreement and there is a 48 hour extension in place! This extension was agreed by both CWA D9 Bargaining Team and AT&T to extend till April 9th. The Bargaining Team beleive they are very close in reaching a tentative agreement.
We will provide more information as it comes available.
AT&T update:
Currently working with out a contract!
We have no good news on the AT&T side. We have not heard of any really good progress at the bargaining table.
We are currently working without a contract!
These are the company passed props.
-Revisited capping art 8 table.
-New table for transfers into app A
-passed scope again with modifications, added
A couple nuggets for app E:
Added MLK and changing the time to change schedules notifications,
added changing schedule to mirror civic duty.
-passed term to perm language
-passed benefits
-no improvement to pension.
-no wages were discussed.
-company rejected all outstanding app E props we had.
A strike vote will be taken next week for AT&T.
